Since becoming a CED employee in 2010, I’ve worked at several credit offices in Missouri and Massachusetts before taking over as the Division Credit Manager in Northern California. To stay connected with the credit community, I’ve become very involved in local trade groups. I am an alternate board member for CMA, Credit Management Association. I’m also the chairmen of the Northern California Electric Trade Group which is sponsored by CMA. Being involved has helped me develop my interpersonal skills by associating with other credit managers in the industry, leading trade group meetings, and becoming a respected leader in the credit management community.

The Credit Management Training program with CED has prepared me to be very successful in my role as a Division Credit Manager and as an overall business leader. CED provided a thorough and exciting training process for me to learn all facets of financial and credit management. With the training program and support of management, you gain extensive knowledge of the industry and become enthusiastic about your position. The feeling of working with a group of like minded individuals whose goals and values line up with yours is an incredible experience.

CED has shown me that hard work paired with dedication and perseverance can lead you to succeed in all aspects of your job. The freedom of scheduling your own visits with fellow managers, employees and customers makes this a great place to tune your time management, as well as visit new places. Attending trade group meetings and credit seminars has greatly increased my communication and interpersonal skills. My favorite experiences with CED involve meeting and interacting with our customers face to face. Whether it be tackling a credit issue, doing a job walk with a customer and salesman, or simply dropping in for a quick visit to their place of business, you always feel better just getting to know your customers on a personal as well as a business level. The relationships that you make here at CED will last a lifetime. From employees to our customers to our vendors, CED works with and employs some of the most respected individuals in the industry.
